Hi :) Do you know anything about neuroscience at UCL? Thank you. P.S. Your artwork is incredible! :) x

Hey there, thank you very much for your lovely message! It means a lot, thanks :)

Unfortunately I don’t really know a lot about the UCL Neuroscience course. I did once meet a 1st year neuroscientist and am now regretting not speaking to her more, haha!

However, I do know that the course has close links with the Wellcome Trust and checking out the Wellcome Trust Museum in the UCL campus could be a good idea. Subsequently I’ve also heard that neuroscience research at UCL is world-leading standard.

Sorry I can’t be of much more help! x

hi! I'm looking to maybe study at ucl in 2014 but damn the open day is fully booked now , even though I presume it's so cool so there's no point in going. Anyway, I want to study fine art and was wondering what the facilities were like? Also, do you think it would be bad to apply even if I haven't been to the open day? thank you :-)

Hello!

I’m afraid I don’t know what the fine art facilities are like - was it the Slade School of Fine Art you were applying for? But the general uni facilities are on the whole very good. The buildings are a lot older than most other uni’s so I wouldn’t expect state-of-the-art shiny new things but everything you need is here really.

I don’t think it’s bad at all if you haven’t been to an Open Day. I didn’t go to a UCL Open Day before I started here, and in fact, I didn’t even visit the campus before I moved into my halls. I do recommend checking out the campus though, to have a look round and see if you like what you see. It may not be an Open Day but the uni is always open to visitors and you can still get a feel of the atmosphere :)
